Sam is a show runner director and story producer specializing in Documentary, adventure, reality and branded content broadcasting formats.
He is responsible for shooting producing and directing popular flagship productions, with consistently successful viewing figures, for major broadcasters in America, Europe and Asia; Discovery Channel, Ch4 and BBC, as well as high-end corporate clients; Red Bull, Clinique, Bacardi and HTC.
With a passion for storytelling both in the edit and on location, Sam has consistently delivered a compelling narrative, conveyed with dynamic and beautiful footage; with emotional drive and personal stakes at the core of storytelling.
Sam specializes in directing big crews and has extensive experience self-shooting,
His career has taken him to hazardous and remote locations with adverse conditions; from mountain ranges in Colorado, Alaska and the Himalayas, to the Gobi Desert, a fishing boat 25 miles of the coast of Boston during tropical storms, the Mangroves of Borneo, the jungle in Thailand's golden triangle, and the tropical islands of Palau and Panama.
Sam is a highly self-motivated individual who enjoys leading a team from the front. He leads by example with a tenacious and positive attitude, striving to bring the best out of those in front of camera and behind the scenes.
